Aug. 22 — To the Editor:
Voters in N.H. Senate District 24 have the good fortune to vote for an experienced legislator to fill that open seat. Tom Sherman, in addition to serving two terms in the N.H. House and learning how the General Court works, brings a broad range of skills from his training as a doctor to issues of concern to Seacoast families: cancer clusters, environmental hazards and the opioid epidemic.
Dr. Sherman, in addition to his practice in gastroenterology at Exeter Hospital, also served on the Committee on Health, Human Services and Elderly Affairs. During his service in the N.H. House, he worked across the aisle and with senators on public safety issues such as tanning beds, health incident reporting, vaccines and protecting privacy of DNA samples.
It would be a serious error to miss the chance of having Tom Sherman, a concerned and talented advocate for personal and community health as senator for N.H. District 24. More information at http://tomsherman.us/
Not sure if you are in District 24? It includes Newton, Kensington, Seabrook, South Hampton, Hampton. Hampton Falls, North Hampton, Greenland, Stratham, Rye, New Castle. Support Tom in the Democratic Primary on Sept. 13 and again in the general election on Nov. 8.
