Dr. Sherman is the real deal
Oct. 28 — To the Editor:
I am enthusiastically supporting Dr. Tom Sherman for the state Senate District 24. Living in a small Greenland neighborhood, we are close to the Coakley landfill site. Water is supplied through our own individual wells and we have become increasingly concerned about the direction of the Coakley water plume and potential toxins. We learned that Dr. Sherman, as our State Rep., was interested and already involved in examining this issue. I sent an email to him, outlining a variety of concerns and by the next day, I received a thoughtful, supportive response…not a standard form reply. Later that week he followed up by attending a Greenland Town Meeting on our behalf, where our water situation was an agenda item. In addition he has offered his time to come to a home neighborhood gathering to hear from us directly, as he continues to actively follow this issue of health and safety.
Dr. Sherman is the real deal! His warm sincerity speaks to his commitment. Coakley concerns just represent one of the many issues he will bring to the table as someone truly interested in promoting the well-being of all of us here in New Hampshire. We are fortunate to have such a qualified person willing to work on our behalf.
